Colombo থেকে Kandy পৌঁছানোর তিনটে option। Train — Colombo Fort station থেকে Kandy direct, ৩ ঘণ্টা, LKR 200-500 (২nd class এ AC observation car সবচেয়ে সুন্দর)। Bus — Colombo Bastian Mawatha bus stand থেকে express bus, ৪ ঘণ্টা, LKR 250। Private car — ২.৫ ঘণ্টা, LKR 12,000-15,000 (৩-৪ জনের জন্য worth it)।

Temple of the Tooth Etiquette
Sacred site — dress code maintain করুন। Shoulder এবং knee cover, no shorts/sleeveless। Entry এ shoes খুলে দিতে হবে (storage available, LKR 50)। Photography allowed কিন্তু inner sanctum এ no flash, no selfie stick। Tooth Relic আসলে দেখা যায় না — পাত্রের ভিতরে রাখা, শুধু ৬:৩০AM, ৯:৩০AM, এবং ৬:৩০PM এর puja time এ পাত্র display হয়। ১৫-২০ মিনিট আগে যেতে হবে।

July-August এ ১০ দিনের grand Buddhist festival — Sri Lanka এর biggest cultural event। ১০০+ elephant, drummer, dancer এর procession রাতে Kandy শহরের রাস্তা দিয়ে। Last night (Maha Perahera) সবচেয়ে spectacular। যদি এই time এ visit করেন, hotel ২ মাস আগে book করুন, price ৩-৪x বেড়ে যায়। Festival এ যেতে চাইলে বিশেষ planning দরকার।
