Investor pitch এর জন্য বিদেশ যাওয়া বাংলাদেশি startup founder দের ক্ষেত্রে এখন বাস্তবতা। YC Demo Day, Singapore Tech Week, Dubai Future Forum — এই events এ pitch করতে যাওয়া মানেই visa সমস্যার মুখে পড়া। কিন্তু সঠিক documents থাকলে approval আসবেই।
- US: B-1 Business Visa — pitch, meeting, negotiation allowed

YC Demo Day এ যাওয়া — US Visa Process
Y Combinator Demo Day San Francisco তে হয়। B-1 visa তে যাওয়া যায় — purpose: attending startup demo day, meeting investors। YC থেকে official invitation letter নাও। DS-160 এ clearly লেখো “CEO/Founder attending Y Combinator Demo Day to present startup and meet investors”। Pitch deck আর incorporation doc সাথে রাখো।
Apply Process
Visa apply এর আগে meeting বা event confirmed হতে হবে।
Incorporation, pitch deck (brief), product demo link, team bios prepare করো।
“Investor pitch” বা “Business meeting” clearly mention করো।
Singapore এ investor meeting করতে যাওয়া Bangladesh থেকে সবচেয়ে সহজ — visa পাওয়া তুলনামূলক simple, flight ৩–৪ ঘণ্টা, investor community active। First overseas pitch Singapore দিয়েই শুরু করো।
Investor meeting এর জন্য বিদেশে গিয়ে সেই দেশে কাজ করা বা payroll এ থাকা allowed না। Meeting করো, pitch করো, investment নাও — কিন্তু employee হিসেবে কাজ শুরু করতে হলে work permit দরকার।

Bangladesh থেকে registered startup না হলে কি visa পাবো?
Difficult — কিন্তু impossible না। Delaware বা Singapore তে incorporated থাকলে সেটা দেখাও। না হলে business purpose clearly explain করো।
Investor meeting এ fund receive করা কি visa তে সমস্যা?
না — investment receive করা B-1 বা business visitor visa তে allowed। এটা work না, business transaction।
Rejection হলে re-apply কতদিন পর করবো?
Rejection letter এ কারণ উল্লেখ থাকলে সেটা address করে reapply করো। সাধারণত ৩–৬ মাস পরে reapply করা ভালো — নতুন evidence নিয়ে।
