১. Mutianyu — Best Overall (Beginner Friendly)
Beijing থেকে ৭০ km। Cable car এবং toboggan slide আছে। Restored কিন্তু crowded না। Autumn-এ red leaves + wall = stunning। Entry ৬৫ CNY + cable car ৯০ CNY। Foreign tourist-দের জন্য সেরা choice।
২. Jinshanling — Best for Photography
Restoration আর wild section-এর মধ্যে boundary। Sunrise photography legendary। Beijing থেকে ১২৫ km। Entry ৬৫ CNY। ৭–৯ km hike করে Simatai পর্যন্ত।
৩. Simatai — Best for Night Visit
দুনিয়ার মাত্র দুটো Great Wall section রাতে open — Simatai তার একটা। Gubei Water Town-এর পাশে। Entry ৪০ CNY (day) / ৬৫ CNY (night)। Beijing থেকে ১৩০ km।
৪. Badaling — Most Famous (Most Crowded)
Beijing-এর সবচেয়ে কাছে (৭৫ km)। সবচেয়ে restored, সবচেয়ে ভিড়। World leaders এখানে ছবি তুলেছেন। Early morning গেলে ভিড় কম। Entry ৪০–৬৫ CNY। High-speed train আছে।
৫. Jiankou — Best Wild Section (Advanced Hikers)
Unrestored, dramatic, dangerous। 90-degree angle-এ wall। Photography-র জন্য legendary। Free (unofficial access)। Guide নিন — lost হওয়া সহজ।
৬. Gubeikou — Best Authentic Experience
Ming এবং Qi dynasty দুটো wall পাশাপাশি। Small tourist traffic। Village homestay আছে। Beijing থেকে ১৪০ km। Entry ৪০ CNY।
৭. Huanghuacheng (Lakeside Great Wall)
Wall partially submerged in reservoir — surreal photos। Beijing থেকে ৮০ km। Entry ৪৫ CNY। Boat hire করে water section দেখুন।
৮. Shanhaiguan — Eastern End of Wall
Bohai Sea-তে wall এসে শেষ হয়েছে। “First Pass Under Heaven” gate। Qinhuangdao কাছে। Beijing থেকে ৩ ঘণ্টা train। Entry ৬৫ CNY।
Jiankou-তে অনেক tourist আহত হয়েছেন — unrestored wall পিচ্ছিল এবং unstable। Experience ছাড়া যাবেন না। Badaling-এ Golden Week-এ (October 1–7) এতটাই ভিড় যে দেওয়ালে দাঁড়ানো মুশকিল।

Great Wall-এ কত সময় দিতে হবে?
Half-day (৩–৪ ঘণ্টা) যথেষ্ট একটা section-এর জন্য। Transport সহ পুরো দিন রাখুন। Jinshanling to Simatai hike করতে চাইলে full day।
Mutianyu-তে কীভাবে যাব?
Beijing থেকে tour bus সহজ (Dongzhimen bus station)। Alternatively Didi বা private car hire — round trip ৩০০–৪০০ CNY। Public bus (916 → 6) সস্তা কিন্তু slow।
